Based in our Almuñécar office Julia Beckley was born in Dorset and grew up in Romford. Before moving to Spain to teach English as a foreign language, Julia worked in various commercial areas as diverse as import and export in an oil related business to being a wine advisor for a German wine company. During her working life she has travelled far and wide to Paris, New York, Marbella, Madrid, Barbados, Texas, Salzburg, Vienna, Zurich, and Florida.

Fluent in Spanish, she has lived in Spain for over 14 years working in Madrid before moving to the coast.

Julia has worked for Velasco Lawyers since the office opened in 2002 and as a recent home owner in the area can relate to all the stress and problems that this entails.

Her hobbies include reading, driving, swimming, cinema and more recently singing with the choir in Almuñécar with whom she has also travelled to Germany, Burgos and Leon.
